FAHUM 2011 - Humanitarian Allied Forces Simulation Exercise
FAHUM 2011 took place in Trinidad and Tobago from April 04-15 and aimed at enhancing the nation’s response capabilities and ability to operate with regional and international agencies. The exercise involved the participation and cooperation of several countries, and simulated a catastrophic earthquake event occurring in the vicinity of Trinidad and Tobago. Each governmental and non-governmental emergency/disaster response agency was therefore required to respond in accordance with its respective emergency response plans in order to support the national response to this disastrous incident.
