ODPM meets with volunteers

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) is developing its National Volunteer Programme which will allow the public, private and civil sectors to take ownership of their communities’ vulnerabilities and engage in risk reduction and emergency management practices. Since advertising the programme, a number of citizens and agencies have expressed an interest in offering their time and energy. The ODPM intends to conduct an introductory briefing for these volunteers. Further details are hereunder:-

• Mr. Allan Stewart, Director – Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA)
• Dr. Stephen Ramroop, Chief Executive Officer – ODPM
