ODPM launches new Customer Care Centre

Launch of 511 Customer Care Centre – Your call for help!
In an effort to improve the delivery of emergency service to citizens, the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) has partnered with DirecOne, to establish a new customer care centre to address the emergencies and incidents of citizens. This new centre will be available 24/7 in order to attend to any emergency that may arise and is a key project in our continued efforts to build a safer and more resilient country. Additionally, this centre will be able to re-direct calls to the relevant first responder agency or authority and in the near future also facilitate communication via social media.
The ODPM intends to introduce this project to the nation and as such, we will be honoured if you will attend this launch. Expected to speak are:-
- Mr. Peter Pena, Managing Director, DirecOne
- Dr. Stephen Ramroop, Chief Executive Officer, ODPM
- The Honourable Collin Partap, Minister in the Ministry of National Security
Attendees will include heads of the first responder agencies, critical agencies and other partners.
