T&T to host 6th Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management
The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has accepted the invitation from the Caribbean Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) to host the 6thCaribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM). This conference which will be held from December 5-9, 2011, is considered the region’s premier event on disaster risk management and the region’s largest gathering of professionals in the fields of disaster management.
Titled CDM:Reflection, Introspection, Moving Forward, this conference aims to promote good practice, share ongoing research and chart the way forward for the advancement of CDM in the Caribbean.
In light of this, the Executives from the ODPM and the Caribbean Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) will be hosting a media conference to inform and update the nation on the plans for this event. Further details are below:-

TIME: 10:00 a.m.
VENUE: ODPM’s Office, 4A Orange Grove Road, Tacarigua.
