ODPM CEO and Health Minister to visit Princess Elizabeth Home

Today, the ODPM CEO, Dr Stephen Ramroop will once again visit the Princess Elizabeth Home in Mucurapo to assess the status of clean-up efforts at this institution. Dr Ramroop will be accompanied by Senator the Honourable Therese Baptiste-Cornelis, Minister of Health, under whose purview the home falls.

This is the second visit that the ODPM and its team, are making to the home. On Saturday afternoon, Dr Ramroop and other ODPM officers visited the home to coordinate and supervise the response and clean up efforts, which were being done by the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross, the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service and groups from the CEPEP.

At this meeting today which begins at 10:00 a.m, the ODPM representatives and the Minister will discuss ways to alleviate the flooding situation at this home.
