HAZARDOUS SEAS ALERT CANCELLED
 

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has cancelled the Hazardous Seas Alert #1 on Friday 5th October, 2018 at 3:22 p.m. for Trinidad and Tobago.  Sea conditions have returned to Green Level which means no immediate action is required.

Long period swells no longer pose any significant threat to the coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago.

Citizens should continue to remain cautious when engaging in any sea-related activity.

Citizens should also continue to monitor the website and social media profiles of the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service and the ODPM for official weather forecast, alerts, warnings and cancellations. Visit www.metoffice.gov.tt or www.odpm.gov.tt

WE WISH TO UNDERSCORE THAT TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO IS NOT CURRENTLY UNDER ANY TROPICAL STORM OR HURRICANE THREAT, WATCH OR WARNING.
